Job Description:
As an Automotive Front Counter Assistant/ Parts Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:
Assisting the front counter area, warmly greeting customers and providing assistance as needed.
Handling incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently, while also scheduling appointments when required.
Offering accurate service and parts estimates to customers if needed.
Maintaining meticulous records of customer interactions and transactions to ensure a seamless experience.
Assisting technicians in ordering and tracking parts to streamline operations.
Receiving and meticulously verifying parts orders and returns from suppliers.
Efficiently managing inventory levels by monitoring and restocking parts.
Ensuring proper labeling and storage of all parts in their designated areas.
Upholding a clean and organized parts storage area to facilitate smooth operations.
Assisting customers with parts returns and refunds, providing exceptional support throughout the process.
Handling cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and accuracy.
Keeping customers updated on the status of their vehicles, providing clear and timely communication.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a customer service role, demonstrating exceptional skills in serving customers.
Knowledge of automotive parts and services is preferred, allowing you to effectively assist customers and technicians.
Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, staying composed and efficient under pressure.
Proficiency with computers and basic software programs to facilitate tasks.
