Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. Be More Than You Can Imagine. o Responsible for implementation and performance to Aero Codes related to Software Quality, assigned engineer will be predominately focused on software quality tasks. o Successful applicant will work with engineering software developers to ensure compliance to Company, IPT and Program requirements under minimum supervision. o Perform/assist process, product, vendor and special quality evaluations/audits and author reports of same. o Review and give input to proposal activities. o Provide SSQ management with metrics, reports, schedules, and other support as necessary. Will develop and deploy standard software quality procedures and quality engineering methods and tools compatible with the various phases of the software development life cycle. o Emphasis will be on application of process validation and controls throughout the value stream featuring proven advanced statistical analysis, root cause determinations and prevention of software process and product escapes. o Scope of responsibility also includes; quality, root cause corrective and preventive action, variation management actions, supplier quality integration tasks. o Will assure utilization of statistical methods and preventive action methods to evaluate and initiate actions to identify and control sources of variation detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets. o Additional; this position is responsible for performing associated tasks and activities related to the software quality engineering Q&MS proposal reviews, cost estimating (BOE's), contract reviews, and contract requirement flow down. o Position will be completely accountable for system effectiveness defined by Q&MS commitments and associated quality measures. o Must be willing to travel and able to work off-shift and weekends when needed. o Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access. A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Software Development, Quality AssuranceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
