Technologies, a leader in the vehicle emissions testing industry, is seeking an experienced Automotive Repair Technician who will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating the vehicles used auditing the Georgia Clean Air Force Program.
Working in our Smyrna office, this position is responsible for:
Ensuring performance of company vehicles, including setting up vehicles to fail emissions test.
Assisting Applus staff in evaluation of repair receipts to determine if pricing is reasonable and if work notated is emission related.
Visually inspecting motorist vehicles presented for repair waivers to determine whether the repair work has been made.
Researching vehicles that have failed test multiple years and are requesting another repair waiver to determine possible solutions and/or repairs to the vehicle.
Technical qualifications include at least 6 months of Automotive Service work experience, and having an A.
S.
E.
Certification is a plus.
Qualified candidates must also be reliable and have the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and make decisions in a fast paced environment.
