Responsibilities The Supervisor of Billing reports to the Director of Billing.
They are responsible for the submission of properly executed claims in a timely manner to government and non-government payors.
Coordinates measures to address billing issues, administrative issues, and provide training for employees.
Completes billing policies and procedures.
Has knowledge of state and federal regulations as they pertain to billing processes and procedures.
Skilled in good oral, written and interpersonal communication.
Ability to willingly accept and delegate responsibility.
Ability to set priorities and use good judgment for self and staff.
Ability to multitask and accept constant change.
Qualifications Required Minimum Education High School diploma or GED certificates required Two years of collegelevel education is preferred, with major areas of study to include Business Administration or related discipline Required Minimum Experience 5 years of healthcare related billing experience Must understand revenue cycle principles and hospital billing systems Required Minimum Skills Analytical skills, computer skills, presentation skills, teaching skills, general billing knowledge, good communication skills, ability to interact professionally with multiple departments including patient access services, compliance, utilization management, coding and revenue management We'd like to invite you on a career journey like no other!
