Groundskeeper

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, parking lots and other community buildings to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
They will also assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Keep the property clean, inspect the property each morning and pick up any trash that litters the grounds Prepare and maintain landscape daily (mow lawns, maintain flower beds, rake leaves, de-ice and shovel snow) Clean pool and pool area as needed (hose down area, pick up trash and straighten chairs) Assist with light maintenance duties as needed (replace light bulbs in common areas and breezeways, replace window screens, replace air filters, move appliances and painting) Assist with apartment make-readies as requested (remove trash from vacant units, caulk, check appliances and smoke detectors and replace parts) Assure safety practices are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines Follow Bridge policies and procedures and comply with Fair Housing, state and federal laws Regular, on-time attendance Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment and tools Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry a plus Follow oral and written instructions Ability to communicate with residents, co-workers and management Ability to climb up to 40 feet Color vision and the ability to hear SKILLS AND ABILITIES High school graduate or equivalent Up to 1 year of prior grounds keeping experience Inside and outside in all weather conditions What we offer Generous base salary and bonus program Full benefits suite including 401K, above-average PTO, Parental Leave, and Medical, Dental, Vision Access to benefits concierge service Access to Mental Health & well-being service Be part of a culture that is truly open door, with access to mentorship, leadership training, career advancement, and innovation Opportunities to join employee resources groups and participate in events hosted by the Bridge Women's Network, Black Inclusion Group, BIG Pride, Allies for AAPI, Unidos Latino and Hispanic Group, Bridge of Honor Veterans, and Advocates for Accessibility Opportunity to be involved in community outreach and charity events Get to know BridgeBridge is a leading, vertically integrated real estate investment manager, diversified across specialized asset classes.
