Substance Use Counselor (Hartmann)

Hartmann is a residential treatment program for adolescents with substance abuse issues and/or co-occurring disorders.
The Counselor works in the Hartmann Center to provide substance abuse education and to foster recovery skill building.
The Counselor provides individual, family and group counseling and additional services to youth who are enrolled in Hartmann programming in an effort to improve outcomes for youth.
Seeking to contribute to the success of the Hartmann youth as well as the agency as a whole, the Counselor will provide services to youth on their caseload in an effort to reach goals related to the Hartmann contract including reduction of use, increased family functioning and a reduction of recidivism as it relates to the juvenile justice system.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide individual, group, and family therapy; complete documentation (ex.
progress notes, treatment plans, 30 day reviews, safety plans) in effort to ensure that high quality therapeutic services are provided.
Attend weekly treatment team meetings and collaborate with Hartmann staff, community partners and family caretakers as it relates to youth challenges, progress and achievement of treatment goals.
Provide referrals to additional C&A services (ex.
stepdown) for youth returning home to other counties through Georgia through assessing and evaluating client needs, strengths, goals and resources.
Intervene, stabilize and manage acute crisis situations and complete incident reports when necessary.
Maintain licensure/credentials by completing all recommended continuing education requirements per licensing board requirements.
Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education - High School Diploma/GED Licensure/Certification - Job related license (g.
, CAC1, CADC, CAADC, CADC-T) Experience - Minimum one-year (1) of human services, social work and/or clinical experience with child and adolescent population.
Other - Criminal background check clearance, official academic transcripts, valid driver's license/ID, drug screen, TB test, eligible 7yr MVR PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Education - Bachelor's Degree in Social Services or related field Licensure/Certification - MAC - Master Addictions Counselor Recommended Skills Clinical Works People Services Social Work Family Therapy Progress Note Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
