Interim Director of Contracting and Strategic Sourcing(Healthcare)
Interim Director of Contracting and Strategic Sourcing(Healthcare)12 month Contract Specific duties of the Interim Director of Contracting and Strategic Sourcing will include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for the Hospital's Purchasing Department operations, and supply, equipment, pharmaceutical and purchased service contract activity.
Responsibility for developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting cost containment mechanisms and facilitation of effective communication between departments and Supply Chain.
Responsible for working collaboratively with Vendors and Legal Services to facilitate execution of contracts for Pharmacy and Clinical Supplies, Information Systems, Capital Purchases, and Purchased Services.
Responsible for working collaboratively with Accounts Payable to create a highly reliable procure-to-pay system.
Responsible for Vendor Management across the organization.
Responsible for oversight of Enterprise Resource System (Lawson/Infor).
Establish collaborative work methods with vendors, CQVA, Supply Chain Operations, medical staff, clinicians, department administration and other staff to achieve targeted goals.
