Structural Analyst for the Advanced Development Programs Structural Analysis Team.Successful candidate will be able to perform structural analysis on new designs of airframe mechanism parts, including landing gear and inflight opening doors.Responsible for static strength assessment, detail part sizing of primary and secondary mechanisms structure.You will work directly with suppliers to convey requirements and to verify compliant products.You will use your knowledge of engineering mechanics, including Engineering Statics, Dynamics, and Strength of Materials.Thorough knowledge of and experience in classical stress analysis methods (Section cuts, buckling, fastener pattern analysis, load transfer, deflection analysis, etc.).Experience in finite element modeling, with preference for Nastran, Hypermesh, and Abaqus.Experience with kinematic structures and mechanisms preferred.Experience with primary structure a minimum.Exhibits good ability to work cross-functionally with other teams (Design, Loads, FEA).Excellent with communication and voicing ideas/concerns/mitigation requirementsRequired skills:
Experience with moving parts doors, landing gear, panels (kinematic structures and mechanisms).
