The primary function of this role is to provide Personal Care Assistance - or Direct Support and related services to the individual in their home.
These tasks include:

QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GEDFirst Aid and CPR certificationCNA/ PCT certification preferred experience in home health and direct care is also acceptedMust be very familiar with and previously trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)Must be very familiar and efficient with working with individuals with behaviors.
Must be very familiar with nonverbal individuals, American Sign Language (ASL), and have previously or currently practiced or utilized sign language to communicate with others.
Must have at least three(3) years of RECENT experience in a health-related field, day program services, home health care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Must be able to provide references and contacts of previous employers.
Above average communication skills:
