First Data. Beyond the Transaction.
This individual will take a systematic approach to growing and developing referral partners within the Small Business Center. This includes supporting the SBC business consultants and signing new referral partnerships. Additionally creating more sales opportunities through strategy, lead assignment, sales processes, communication, reporting and fulfillment. He or she will be responsible to initiate internal involvement, and to leverage SBC capabilities and individuals to develop and execute on growth strategies for each partner. This includes but is not limited to sales offerings and product programs, lead generation, merchant retention, reporting, etc. The successful candidate will work as part of a team will collaborate with peers, sales leadership, and participate in establishing goals and team strategic direction. They will work with sales leaders to gain insight and help increase close rates. Performance is measured by the acquisition of new sales related to new and assigned strategic partners, the initiatives developed and executed to support each partner and the overall global contribution of the SMB Client partner sales and management team.

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
1.

Support Small Business Center by promoting and signing new referral partnership agreements. Work with all internal resources, complete onboarding and integration of newly signed partners.
2.

Work directly with each assigned partner and establish clear communication paths coordinating between the partner and First Data.
3.

Collaborate with sales and marketing team to create appropriate offers for partners. Execute on specific strategies related to product and offers to drive partner referral sales
4.

Work with SBC management team to align and assign SBM partnerships with individuals and teams.
5.

Report and provide ongoing measurement to partner, stakeholders and internal departments on performance of strategic initiatives.
6.

Work closely with sales teams assigned to referral partner leads, establishing communication avenues for collaboration and accountability. Provide evaluation of sales opportunities and drive new sales close rates.
7.

Build strategies and execute to support new partnerships including, "Welcome Calls", "90 Day No Activity Calls" and "Reviving Calls" for dead partners with no activity.
8.

Direct and provide resolutions related to partner customer escalations coordinating efforts with appropriate service organizations.
9.

Coordinate and meet with partners on an ongoing basis, providing monthly or quarterly business review updates.
10.

Participate in partner related tradeshows or conferences.
11.

Participate in weekly plan review with SBC team, manager and quarterly business review with senior management.
12.

Participate in enhancing the strategic partner organization; its vision, strategy, and processes.
13.

All other responsibilities as assigned by management.
14.

Annual required travel is approximately 25%.

Bachelors degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years sales experience preferred. Prior coaching and leadership of a team preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
