The Small Package Administrator supports the corporate transportation department through the administration of accounts and analysis of small package freight expense across all divisions of Mohawk Industries.
Responsibilities:
Administer the set up and deletion of small package accounts with small package carriers, human resources, and finance.
Review small package expenditures for reduction opportunities
Sub-group reporting of small package expenditures
Rate quotes and training assistance
Troubleshoot billing and G/L coding issues
Analysis work to support zone skips and mode shifts
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Required
Bachelor's diploma preferred
1-3 years of experience in transportation or finance.
Proficient in Microsoft office
Proficient in AS400 & JD Edwards
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization required. Good Voice Quality that is conversational and professional.
Ability to perform basic math calculations and apply basic accounting concepts with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and to apply knowledge, procedure and guidelines to resolve processing problems or issues.
Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
Must be an effective team member.
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
