Recreation Aid
Performs and/or assists Recreation Assistant or Manager in the operation and maintenance of indoor and/or recreational facilities and equipment to assure safe conditions and cleanliness. Assists the Recreation Assistant and Manager with assignments to the RV storage lot and FAM Camp. Collects and safeguards fees, charges, and monies from equipment rental, RV storage lot, FAM Camp, and Creation Gifts & Awards Shop. Assists Recreation Assistant or Manager with loan or recreation equipment to authorized patrons. Assists in set-up, implementation and tear down of base-wide MWR events as needed. Maintains site landscaping throughout ODR, RV storage lot, FAM Camp including but not limited to mowing lawns, trimming trees, hedges and shrubs, and preventing and eliminating weeds, and keeping grounds free from trash, litter and debris, and emptying trash receptacles.
