When BMW set out to dominate the World Touring Car Championship with its 3-series car the company had to build 5,000 with a 200-bhp, 2.
3-liter engine to homologate it for racing.
The result was this all time classic.
There was only approximately 5,000 E30's made in 1988, with 500 of those being the upgraded Sport Evolution E30.
The Sport Evolution came with a few tasteful upgrades, which included a slight increase in horsepower from the original E30 with 190 bhp to a solid 220 bhp.
Other upgrades included suspension mods as well as a front splitter and rear spoiler.
